Expect Some Fireworks
While it may already feel like summer in the Northern Hemisphere, the season officially begins with the summer solstice on June 21st, which also happens to be Father’s Day in the U.S. On this day, we will experience the most hours of sunlight for the year and then the days will begin to grow shorter until we arrive at the Winter Solstice in December.
We will likely see some tumultuous events this summer, especially during the month of July. You know what I always say, continue to stay grounded and practice self care, whatever that looks like for you.
Below is an excerpt from my Substack post,Your 2026 Starlight Guide to 2026:
“As we move into summer, the energy heats up. Know that this will be a time of great intensity, perhaps a boiling point.
In July, expansive Jupiter moves from water sign Cancer to fire sign Leo for the next year. Sometimes Jupiter can expand good fortune. Sometimes it can provide a balm or spiritual direction. Ultimately, Jupiter brings themes of expansion and abundance to the area of the chart it resides or transits.”
A few key dates for summer:
July 1st, Jupiter moves from Cancer to Leo
August 12th, Solar Eclipse in Leo
August 28th, Lunar Eclipse in Pisces
Time For A Pause
You won’t be hearing from me much this summer.
My primary focus this summer is preparing my Lunch Lecture talk for the United Astrology Conference that will be held in Chicago in September. This is my first time presenting at an astrology conference and I’m so excited and honored to be a part of this key international conference!
