About Julie
Hi, there! I’m Julie Starr. I help clients find healing and personal power through the ancient wisdom of astrology. I practice a blend of traditional Hellenistic astrology and modern psychological astrology. My sessions combine astrology, intuitive insights, and tarot.
In September 2026, I presented a Lunch Lecture at the international United Astrology Conference entitled “When A Benefic Isn’t So Great: A Closer Look At Jupiter And Venus.”
I have presented at the Nashville Astrology Club and taught astrology classes and workshops in person and online. In addition, my writing has been published online and in print, and I also write about astrology on my blog and my Substack, Living By Starlight. I’m certified in Hellenistic Astrology through The Astrology School, which is founded and directed by astrologer Chris Brennan. Other teachers I have studied with include Adam Elenbaas/Nightlight Astrology; Kepler College; Rebecca Gordon Astrology. I also completed a mentorship with Moon Zlotnick through OPA’s mentorship program.
I’m a lifelong student (Gemini rising with Mercury conjunct the ascendant)! My astrological skills are supported by my training as a certified life coach through Radiant Coaches Academy. I’m also a certified Reiki healer and I hold an MA in Women’s Studies.
