Venus In Taurus: Body and Beauty
Venus moved into Taurus on March 30th, 2026, and will remain there through April 24, 2026, before moving into Gemini.
On a recent spring morning, I lay by a local stream, the sun warm and bright on my face, the rocky bank under my body softened by a blanket. The sound of the stream singing as I closed my eyes, enhanced by a cardinal’s bright song. A breeze rustled through the tree leaves, so freshly green with spring. My nervous system calmed. My mind relaxed. My body brings me home …
Venus In Taurus
Venus, goddess of love, art, and beauty, lounging in Taurus speaks to embodiment and the opportunity to get grounded, find stillness and balance amidst chaos. Literally taking time to be outside and/or to be aware of the body and of sensation. To come to stillness and quiet in whatever way that is for you, especially as Mars moves into fire sign Aries as of April 9th.
Venus and Mars
Mars in Aries stirs a sense of dynamism, maybe even chaos. It is alchemical energy. Amped up. Overdrive.
Venus in Taurus can be the crucible to channel the creative spark of Mars in Aries.
Venus provides a balm. A call to luxuriate in the body. To experience and notice bodily sensation. She provides a path to keep your feet on the ground. To reconnect with the earth. To reconnect with your embodied self. She can be a lightning rod that allows the fire of Mars to run through you and produce tangible results, even if that is “simply” calming the nervous system.
Taurus
Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac. It is deep spring. Planting, nourishment, growth. Tangible creativity and sensuality (think gardening, pottery, cooking, a massage). Aries brings the fire of seeding and fresh starts. Taurus brings the nourishment and cultivation of the soil to produce strong roots. Venus sinks deep into the sensual, rich top soil.
A foundation takes hold that nourishes the seed.

The Channel
Venus in Taurus asks you to notice the earth under your feet, the clay in your hands, the stones glistening in the stream. From this groundedness, stillness follows. Awareness grows. The center calms and clarity emerges. Direction is found in the quiet.
