Fire In The Sky (+New Moon In Aries Horoscopes)

Sunday, 4/12 

Waning moon

The week begins with a waning moon in Aquarius. A waning moon brings a time of release. Let go of what’s not working. In Aquarius, you may take an unconventional approach or simply feel the need to have more space.

Monday, 4/13 

Mars conjunct Neptune

Mars and Neptune join together in a close relationship which could manifest as a sense of tiredness, frustration, restlessness, or feeling scattered. It could be a good time to rest if you can, especially coupled with a waning moon.

On the other hand, a sense of restlessness might be better served by a brisk walk or some other activity that allows you to focus your energy.

Tuesday, 4/14 

Mercury moves into Aries at about 10:22 pm CT 

Mercury transitions from water sign Pisces to fire sign Aries. In Pisces, Mercury was about poetry, daydreaming, and perhaps absentmindedness. In Aries, Mercury becomes more focused. You may be feeling some clarity. You may need to watch your communications (and those of others) and practice patience as you may find yourself feeling impatient. Decisions may come more quickly, but be sure you’re not acting impulsively.

We now have a huge stellium in Aries - sun, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and also Chiron. This is a high concentration of fire energy. The drive to take action is strong. This energy could be channeled into a creative project or maybe a physical endeavor, whether it’s athletic or a project around the home. In the world, events pick up the pace and unrest will likely continue to grow.

Meanwhile, the moon is now a waning crescent in Pisces. This can bring some softness, but may also feel sleepy or scattered.

Wednesday, 4/15 

Moon enters Aries

W have a lot of lunar energy on Wednesday. Moon enters Aries, increasing the concentration of fire energy in Aries, and then makes contact with 4 planets in Aries throughout the day. You may find this is a day of rapidly shifting moods, strong sensations of restlessness or impatience, and a strong urge to take action, but perhaps coupled with uncertainty on the best path forward.

The moon is now a dark moon and it may seem that the way forward is unclear and perhaps a little confusing. Emotions may come up and a tendency toward anger, impatience, or upset might be palpable with so much fire energy. Do your best to take deep breaths and stay grounded. 

Thursday, 4/16 

Mercury conjunct Neptune in Aries; Mars sextile Pluto

Today you may find yourself experiencing fuzzy logic and intuitive insights. You may also feel a strong sense of drive to move forward. Just proceed with caution as all may not be clear.

A new moon symbolizes an opportunity for fresh starts and new beginnings. It’s a time for planting seeds. In Aries, this energy is intensified as Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and the sign that welcomes spring. This is potent energy for taking action, birthing something new or the rebirth of an important project, relationship, or process. 

Saturday, 4/18 

Mercury sextile Pluto 

Today we may receive a powerful message or communication from an authority figure. Take caution with how you use your voice and communicate today. Be authoritative but not overbearing. Stand in your power and state your message but do so in a way that is still respectful.
